The adapter supports all existing IDE/ATAPI devices such as CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, IDE hard drives and SATA hard drives.This adapter is unique in that one cable has a standard 40-pin IDE connector on one side and a connector on one side for 3.5" and 5.25" drives,and has a 44-pin connector on the other side for 2.5" laptop/notebook drives. It also has a SATA connector for connectin SATA hard drives. |
